I am surprised by the reviews here on Amazon for this game, and they are certainly not consistent with the great reviews on other sites like justadventure.I have been playing adventure games for many years and truly enjoyed this one.(I also played the first game in the "Last Half of Darkness" series, Shadows of the Servants, and that too was a great game.These games are even more amazing because they are the creation of essentially one man!)Beyond the Spirit's Eye had a interesting storyline and clever, fun puzzles that were well woven into the gameplay.I would characterize the puzzles as challenging, but not hard.Clearly one of the best and most enjoyable characteristics of this game is its creepy atmosphere.If you played and liked games like "Scratches" or "The 7th Guest" of "The 11th Hour" then you will like this game.I highly recommend it and am looking forward to the next game in this series.Click Here to see more reviews about: Last Half Of Darkness: Beyond The Spirit's Eye
